Strike the Match
About
Weston Grady was supposed to be the guy who helped me get back on the road.
But he became the reason I want to stay.
I’ve been running for years, my van and a playlist of true crime podcasts the only constants.
Smoky Heights was meant to be another stop, another place to pass through without letting anyone in.
Then Weston pulled over on the side of the road—golden hair, lethal grin, sharp humor that matched my own—and suddenly leaving felt more dangerous than staying put.
What we have is magnetic, undeniable.
I tell myself it’s just a fling, a distraction.
But every time he looks at me, I feel the walls I’ve built start to crack.
And if he gets too close, he’ll see the truth I’ve been hiding:
my past isn’t just baggage—it’s a ticking clock.
There’s only one problem with falling for Weston Grady.
When my secrets catch up, I’ll lose the only man I was ever brave enough to fall for.
WESTON
Amelia Marsh is a mystery I can’t walk away from.
She thinks she’s temporary, but I know better.
She’s the one who makes me laugh, challenges me, and has no idea how easy she is to love.
I don’t care what shadows she’s running from.
She belongs here. She belongs with me.
And if she’s set on leaving, she better know that I’m not letting her run alone.

Praise for this book
Madison was already at the top of my list with Rekindling the Flame (the first book in the Smoky Heights series), but this second book pushed Myers to the top of my ‘favorite romance authors’ list!
I have been longing to return to the world of Smoky Heights since I read Rekindling the Flame last year. Strike the Match was the perfect way to come home. It’s laugh out loud funny, tear jerkingly emotional, seat meltingly spicy and everything in between.
Infinite stars. PERFECTION
Strike the Match has officially become my favorite read of the year. The banter between Amelia and Weston was top tier and had me cackling.
I literally couldn’t say a single bad thing about it. I knew I would love this because it’s by Madison but I was hooked from chapter two and could not put it down.
Amelia is a badass with a past but she is such a strong character that fits so well with the golden retriever of a man that is Weston. Their humor together was great from their first interaction.
And let me tell you the spice? It was perfectly spicing. You’ll be fanning yourself over this one because WOW🥵
I loved getting to see the other characters that I fell in love with in Rekindling the Flame. Lexi was hilarious in this book and I loved her more in this one!! And then the Easter eggs that Madison puts from her other books (hint, hint go read them so you don’t miss them!) had me smiling!
